A Different Way to Experience French Culture
Where Language Meets Art

I imagined and created this experience for my guests who would like to learn French or improve their French while travelling in a way that feels joyful, memorable and deeply connected to culture.

Because language is much more than vocabulary and grammar.

Idiomatic expressions reveal humour, history, imagination and ways of seeing the world.
They offer a beautiful and unexpected way to understand not only a language, but also the people who speak it.

And French is full of them !

Surprisingly, neither involves eels nor apples.

Hosted in a charming café in Nice, this private experience combines conversation, cultural discovery and original illustrations that I personally created especially for this workshop.

Before becoming a guide, I worked as a designer and artist, and drawing has always been one of my favourite ways to tell stories and make ideas come alive.

This makes the experience completely unique.

Expect surprising discoveries, unexpected conversations and a playful immersion into French culture through expressions that often say much more than they appear to.

If you enjoy writing or sketching, I recommend bringing a notebook and a pen or pencil to collect expressions, thoughts and little discoveries along the way.
