Le Bar des Oiseaux

I highly recommend “Le bar des Oiseaux”, a mostly known and loved by locals restaurant, located in the Heart of the Old Town of Nice.

There you will have the opportunity to experience French “Bistronomy” : « gastronomy » style cuisine at « Bistro » prices.
In other words:  high standard fine French cuisine prepared with love and dedication with fresh and quality ingre fresh and quality ingredients and offered at reasonable prices.

What I love the most about the Bar des Oiseaux’ cuisine, is that it is very creative: you will discover new flavors and unusual but delicious associations of products. Their dishes are created as an art.

I also like the decoration of the place, the theme being « arty ». You will see on the walls paintings reproducing famous Pop Art and Urban Art pieces and tributes to famous painters. You will probably spot the beautiful Tattooed Frida Kahlo in the main room !

If you wish to experience what is fine French food is all about, this is a MUST place.

Special tip
One of my favorite dish there is called « Bourride » : fish and sea food served in a delicious and highly tasty sauce on tiny delicate fresh pasta.
As a desert, the « Mousse au Chocolat » is the most delicious mousse I ever tasted, as delicate and light as a cloud..
